 Extensive Reading Online  This presentation will demonstrate a number of ways that teachers can use technology to promote "Extensive Reading", an approach to language learning which has demonstrated significant effects on overall language proficiency. Included will be sites where free reading material is available, the MReader program for quizzing students on their extensive reading and Xreading, a for-fee program with some 800 online graded readers.

 Free, Easy, and Adaptable Online Vocabulary Activities

 The Internet provides teachers with a wide range of materials and resources. However, it is sometimes difficult to adapt these resources to fit our specific teaching situations. This presentation will look at several online tools for creating adaptable vocabulary activities.
