EVO Minecraft MOOC: Nurturing a CoP to learn about gamification  EVO Minecraft MOOC is in its third iteration now, and in this one a community has formed where participants are learning intensively through creative play in January and February, and staying connected in-world during time between EVO sessions;.  Flipped Learning EVO: Maturing and evolving as fast as FL
2017 is the third year for the Flipped Learning EVO session. This year, the session had over 200 participants who ranged from complete newbies to flip learning to PhD candidates in the field. We have seen how the session has matured and evolved quickly and this year we experienced a very productive global meeting of colleagues. Join us to learn more about the flipped learning session.

Presenter Bios: 
Christine Bauer-Ramazani
Christine Bauer-Ramazani is an instructor of English and teacher trainer at Saint Michael's College in Vermont, U.S.A. Her specialty is integrating Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL) into the classroom, which she has written about and presented on at conferences around the world. Christine co-founded the Electronic Village Online of TESOL and chaired the CALL-Interest Section of TESOL, receiving the D. Scott Enright Award for her service.

Mbarek Akaddar 

My first name is Mbarek and my family name is Akaddar I am Moroccan , 54 years old, married  and father of three kids. I have been an EFL teacher in Morocco for twenty nine years. I joined EVO in 2008 and I have been involved in EVO sessions  since then first as a participant, then as a moderator, and later as a coordinator. Currently I am the lead coordinator of Electronic Village Online EVO 2107.

I also hold the title of  Microsoft Certified Educator,  Microsoft  Innovative Education Trainer and Adobe education Trainer.

Vance Stevens works as EFL English Faculty HCT / CERT / KBZAC in Al Ain, UAE. His online work includes founder of Webheads in Action, On the Internet editor for TESL-EJ, a podcast series Learning2gether with over 360 episodes, and since 2002 one of the coordinators of TESOL CALL-IS Electronic Village Online. Vance is in his third year as founder / co-moderator of EVO Minecraft MOOC.
Carolina Rodriguez Buitrago works as a full time professor at Institución Unversitaria Colombo Americana - ÚNICA in Bogotá, Colombia. She has worked in the field of educationand ELT in Colombia for over 12 years. She currently is the editor for the Education and Learning Research Journal -GiST. She is a member of the coordinating team of EVO and has been a co-moderator for the Flipped Learning session since 2016. 

Anna Krulatz is Associate Professor of English at the Faculty of Teacher Education at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, Norway, where she works with pre- and in-service EFL teachers. Her research focuses on multilingualism with English, pragmatic development in adult language learners, content based instruction, and language teacher education.

Georgios Neokleous is Associate Professor of English at the Faculty of Teacher Education at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, Norway, where he works with pre- and in-service EFL teachers. His research focuses on the use of the mother tongue in monolingual classrooms, English for Academic Purposes (EAP), and classroom anxiety.
